About me
Marcelo
Coelho
With a decade of experience in the market, I work alongside the leading industries in the Brazilian furniture sector and collaborate with the country’s top retailers, developing projects that are turned into real-world products. Born and raised in Brasília, I hold a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Brasília (UnB) and a Master degree in Product Design from the Escola Superior de Design de Barcelona.
In recent years, I’ve been fortunate to have my work recognized beyond Brazil, receiving a Golden A’ Design Award (Italy, 2025) and a Bronze Medal at the ADI Awards (Spain, 2024) and I’ve also had the chance to showcase my designs in cities like New York, Barcelona, São Paulo, and Brasília.
As a volunteer, I’ve collaborated with ADEPRO founding (Federal District Product Design Association), helping to strengthen the product design community in Brasilia, Brazil.
